Council Meeting
Thursday, April 10th – 7:30 PM

Greetings Brother Knights of Council 706:

As the calendar flips over to April and the snow starts to melt away, we all look to get outside of our “cabins” and spend more time in the great outdoors.    Spring brings a spirit of renewal, hope and the causeway to a promising future….. GOLF!!! and yardwork, unfortunately.

Speaking of golf, our Wednesday golf league begins on April 23rd, and I am sure there will be some need for handwarmers, and cold-weather attire so come prepared.       Fortunately for me, you will not have me to blame if the weather is not cooperating as Aaron and Austin Langlois have offered to be the leagues commissioners after several years of Trent Klairter and I running the league.    It was certainly fun but also time to pass the torch to the younger fellas.    I am confident they will do a fantastic job.    Thank you, gentleman, for stepping up when needed.     Much appreciated!!!

Fish Fry’s will continue each Friday during the Lenten season. We will be serving Great Lakes Perch and will have our Muskegon-Famous Onion Rings will be available as well. Please come and enjoy a wonderful fish dinner from 5-7:30. Takeouts will also be available.

Easter stands at the pinnacle of the Christian liturgical year, celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, a cornerstone of faith promising redemption and eternal life to humanity. At the heart of this jubilant time is Easter Sunday, a day brimming with the joy of the Risen Lord, which also begins the Easter Octave—eight days of unbroken celebration, each treated as though they are one and the same day. This period invites us into deep reflection and joy over the life-giving mysteries of Christ’s triumph over death.
