Council Meeting
December 9th, 7PM

“We are better throughout the year for having, in spirit, become a child again at Christmastime.”Laura Ingalls Wilder

On November 15 several members of KofC #706 once again stepped up to help distribute winter coats at Catholic Charities of West Michigan. For several years CCWM has joined with Molina Health to provide winter jackets for those who need them in the Muskegon area. This year, close to 1000 coats were handed out in just under two hours. Thanks to all that participated.

Our own ‘Winter Gear for Kids’ program is again teaming up with Jay Vandevoorde and his Lumberjacks Reading Caravan to provide coats to local schools. Jay and I were able to get many coats to them prior to winter blast we received after Thanksgiving and he continues to distribute. We also continue to receive donations to continue our program, thank you.

Christmas season is upon us. Time will be spent with family and friends, and we will say goodbye to the year 2025 and look forward to a wonderful 2026. I wish to extend a merry Christmas and a happy New Year to each of you.

Our council meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month, and everyone is welcome and encouraged to join us. This month’s meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 9th @ 7pm.

Merry Christmas,

SK Eric Bollman,

Grand Knight – Council #706

From the Editors Desk

thank you all who ordered from the store. We were able to get enough orders to satisfy the minimum requirements!

As we enter the Christmas season, I hope you all find peace. This time of year is a great time to remember days gone by and those we’ve lost. It brings back fond memories of spending time with my Grandparents during the Holidays and seeing many aunts, uncles and cousins. I hope this sparks a memory for you and gives you a smile as well.

A special thanks to all who help with decorating this time of year – The churches look great. The club looks great.

Jokes and Reflections

Joke this month :

Bold Thief

A man went camping in a state park. Before leaving his car to go hiking he left a note on the dashboard saying, “The stereo is broke.”

He did this to deter thieves from breaking into his older model car.

When returning from his hike the man noticed his car window was broken and the stereo was cut from the dashboard.

A note was left by the thief saying, “We’ll fix it.”
