Council Meeting
April 14th, 7PM

“If the only prayer you ever say…is thank you, it will be enough.” -Meister Eckhart

Thank you, thank you and thank you!

On behalf of your council officers and the building association I would like to start with a sincere thank you to Joyce Ernest for handling the bartending schedule. We appreciate all that she has done and hope she enjoys her much deserved ‘retirement’. T

Thank you to Tim Kordecki for stepping up and taking over the bartending scheduling going forward.

Thank you to Carrie Leiter for all she does as our lead bartender. You make all of the busy events look incredibly easy.

Thank you to the 25+ people who generously volunteer their time to bartend every month.

To all the following:

  • Thank you to the breading crew. You all do a fantastic job. A lot of complements from our weekly customers…We LOVE the fish.
  • Thank you to the onion ring dippers. Your work does not go unnoticed. Everyone knows that these are the best onion rings in town. We always sell out long before the demand subsides. We sincerely appreciate all your help and dedication.
  • Thank you to the group that prepare the fish, fries, potatoes, onion rings, coleslaw, salad and desserts on a weekly basis.
  • Thank you to everyone who works outside, rain or shine, collecting money and filling orders.
  • Thank you to all the other people who help with the fish frys. Your help is always appreciated.
  • Thank you to all the people who make our Wednesday dinners successful. Keep up the good work.

Nominations of officers for the 2026-27 fraternal year will be accepted at the April and May general membership meetings. Stop in to either meeting or reach out to me if you are interested in becoming an officer of our council. Elections will be held at the June meeting. Additional thank you to Dave Taggart for stepping up to fill the advocate position vacated last fall.

Future event to add to your calendar:

  • July 8th – Two Dudes in Flip Flops. Wednesday dinner, burger night.

Your attendance at events and dinners is appreciated.

Our council meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month, and everyone is welcome and encouraged to join us. This month’s meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 14th @ 7pm. I hope to see you here as well.

Happy Easter!

SK Eric Bollman,
