I’m looking forward to working with you again this next year. Please thank these men who stepped up to serve.
I would like to thank all the Knights that came out to help at the farewell party for Father Matt Barnum. The weather decided to cooperate for the party, but that is more than I can say for the set-up on Saturday. Thanks to Greg Russick who did more than his share for the event, with assistance from Brad Doriot, Brian Powers, Denny Chandonnet, and Steve DeWall. I am sure there were others that I am not aware of, thank you, to all. Thanks again to all for making the event a success.
If you are involved in an event within our community, first off thank you and second, could you send me info about the event? I will track our involvement within the community and it would be great for helping me keep a log of all that we do in the community for Supreme. Please send info to Carlton29@frontier.com or just drop me a text at 231-740-4651.
The patio is open, so make sure you take advantage of the patio. Steve will continue to have dinners on Wednesday nights, please come down for a dinner to support the club.
I would ask that you add into your prayers, that God may guide our leaders and all of us to make the place we live in better than the day before. I believe that all of us can make a difference, especially in our own community, it starts with each one of us.
Council meetings will be on the second Thursday of each month and everybody is welcome and encouraged to join us for our monthly meeting. This month our council meeting will be on July 8th @ 7 pm. I hope all Brother Knights and their families are doing well, but for those that are going through tough times please pray for them. See the members in need on the website and keep them in your prayers.

Building Association News
Effective July 1, 2021, the price of drinks will be increasing. With cost going up, we needed to raise the prices. As of the last Building Association meeting, all drinks will increase by $.50. It has been over ten years since we have raised our prices. However, this is still quite a bargain at the new price.
The Building Association would like to thank everyone who helped with all the activities including dinners, bartending, cleaning, etc., during this COVID-19. Without all of you who volunteered, we would have been in trouble financially. Please check the website event calendar for all future events.
During the summer months, we still have our Wednesday night dinners…dine in, drive thru and pick-up. Please try to support these dinners. Current dinner schedules coming up:
July
July 7 | Kay’s Chili Dogs | $10.00 | 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
July 10 | Christmas in July Party | 5:30 – ???

Please see the Website at www.kc706.com click on the Calendars, then Event Calendar to see what activities are planned. Thank you!

From the Editors Desk
Eagle Island Golf is underway. Our current starting time is 9:45 am. This is a fun league, maybe a few bets, but you will never lose more than a couple dollars. Who knows you might win a couple too.

Joke(s) of the Month
Restaurant Happiness:
Amid the happy conversation of a luncheonette at mid-day, a man suddenly cried out, “My son’s choking! He’s swallowed a quarter! Help! Please, anyone! Help!”
A man from the adjoining dining room heard the cries, rushed in, seized the child bodily and gave a sudden squeeze around the midriff. The child coughed up the quarter and went back to eating as though nothing had happened.
“Thank you! Thank you!” cried the father. “Are you a paramedic?” “No,” replied the rescuer. “I work for the IRS.”

Eight new choir robes are currently needed due to the addition of several new members and to the deterioration of some older ones.
